When we shifted into our house in 1982, there was a greenhouse out the back. After a couple of years mucking about we decided to get rid of the greenhouse and pave the area over to make a deck. We put the deck down within the vibrapac blocks of the foundation. It has worked well over the years, but looked quite messy with the exposed foundation where you walked onto the deck. I also got the slope wrong and water pooled in the area in the photos where the bricks have been removed. I would like a piece of tanalised timber put in as edging at the front, and the bricks to be replaced. We have the original bricks but if there are not enough or they are not all useable, we could disguise things with a small brick planter.
