Manual Excavation of foundation
Job description
Our house is terraced into the hillside and we have a leak though a wall that is cut into hill. Looking for a team of two or more people to help remove the backfill so that we can gain access to the wall and foundation so that we can properly waterproof it. The job will involve working under the house. It is well lit and there is good access and clearance (can stand up). Someone has attempted to retrospectively waterproof it in the past but it wasn't done well so we're going back in. A section of additional retaining wall was installed by whoever did the job. The excavation was backfilled with drainage metal and/or stones, so it's a case of removing these and getting down about 200mm below slab height in preparation for re-waterproofing and drainage. I've made a start - just need a hand with the work that's more suited to a few people. Estimating 1-2 days work for 2 people.
