Project Description: We are seeking proposals for the decommission of a glasshouse and repair of a garden bed that have been damaged by a recent flood. The project will require special attention to site safety and the condition of the narrow entry, which does not allow for the use of a digger. Scope of Work: Glasshouse Decommission: Remove all glass panes, frame and foundation of the glasshouse. Ensure safe disposal of all materials in accordance with local regulations. Repair any damage to the surrounding area caused by the glasshouse. Garden Bed Repair: Add new soil the garden bed under the weed mat and add back black bark to the original level. Repair the edging that have been damaged by the flood. Safety Considerations: The decommission process must prioritize site safety for workers and visitors. The narrow entryway requires special consideration to ensure no heavy machinery or equipment is used in the process. All workers must be trained and equipped with personal protective equipment to minimize risks. Insurance Considerations: The garden bed repair part of the project is under an insurance claim and all work must be completed in accordance with the policy. The quote will need to insurance pre-approval. The contractor must provide necessary documentation and invoices to facilitate the insurance claim process.
