Active job

An alternative to weeds!

There's a small ~1.2m wide x ~5m strip behind my place that is currently overrun by weeds. I'd like to turn this into something that's a bit nicer to look at (mainly to the benefit of the neighbour), and is very low maintenance. My current thinking is weed mat + pebbles and pavers, but very open to ideas. The area isn't much use for anything as it's on the south side of the house + so small.
