Paving path and courtyard
Job description
Lay new tile pavers on path c. 2mx3m (I can smash out existing concrete in prep if necessary) and front door steps (3 steps). Extend existing courtyard (I can source matching pavers from salvage yard) into the current garden (c. 1mx3m). Also lay some concrete under the fence and a pad for the wheelie bins next to fence. Job completion was delayed due to wet weather. It was also more tricky than first anticipated as the tiling was slate - however Steve did a good job in laying the tiles and pavers. I also asked Steve to install a concrete level base for a planter box as additional to original quote. This was done, however I wasn't happy with the final result as it wasn't done level. I told Steve and he offered to come and fix it, however I had already done so. He took some money off the invoice instead which I was happy with. Total cost was more than quoted as took longer than expected and for materials. Overall l would recommend Steve.
