Patio paving re-lay

I have an existing patio approx 3.6m x 6.4m, which I need to be levelled and re-laid using the existing pavers. At the moment it has a bad problem with ants bringing sand up, and also it has too much cross-fall. (Currently 200mm over 3.6m) I would like the pavers to be lifted, and the subgrade to be levelled so it has just a minimal crossfall. When re-laid I would like a binding sand to be used (such as pavelock), to minimise the ant problem.
