CONCRETE EDGING REMOVED, GARDEN BUILT UP AND PLANTING PLAN

I have a very boring grey concrete edge that runs around our front lawn. I need this removed so the planting space is becomes wider and then dug down a bit so we can build it up and plant a decent garden. The curb is 100mm H x 150mm W. Refer to the attached pics of the plan for the length of the curb. I would also be very interested in a planting plan for this so I know what plants to purchase. I would like easy care tropical planting similar to the last picture attached. We are ready to go as soon as lock down allows.
