Landscape Design/Concept to refresh retaining wall and fence area in Backyard

Hi there, we would like to transform the area our around our deck - especially fence and retaining wall - in something a bit more contemporary. As esp. the fence and retaining wall looks quite worn, this might include e.g. either painting or adding some cladding/panels onto our side of the fence, exchanging the plants on the retaining wall or in front of the fence etc. As we have little experience whats possible, we would like to get advice and a concept/design first, and then help to actually bring it to live. So we are looking for a landscape or garden designer to help us with that. See attached pictures to give you an idea what the garden looks like today. Thank you very much!
