Landscaping design service

I am looking for landscape design services for a 700+ sq metre property. Land is rectangle, with a 3 bedroom 1950s house and 1.5 bedroom 1980s attached unit. This is my first time requesting such services so not sure how this work is charged, e.g. hourly rate, total job cost, plus any initial consult fees etc. Please advise this in your message to me. Would be very beneficial to see a portfolio of some of your work. Ideally wanting the design to be completed by mid January. I am wanting specific design ideas with some simple accompanying visuals for now. Possible construction work might follow.
