Front Side garden refurb

I have a garden approx 6x1.5m along the front driveway. I want this to be replanted. This will require a) potentially a couple of stumps grinded b) some new top soil c) some planting and d) anti-weed matting. The key part of the job is that I was hoping to get it done sometime between this Sat-Thurs next week when my wife is away (bit of a surprise). As an FYi i removed some small tree/hedging about 6 months ago and there is just minimal weed regrowth to clear and a couple of stumps left.
