Leaking irrigation

We bought our house last year and previous owner told us irrigation has been broken for years, we were fine with that, and have never used it. However it has started leaking in 2-3 places, a lot of water being wasted. We just need the system completely disconnected. Only need outdoor water going to 3 tap outlets for hose use, these are currently working but unsure if they are on the same system as the irrigation.

Looking to irrigate ( or wet down ) an strip of pasture as a firebreak around 10m wide by 1.4 km long . The strip to be soaked is in a big U around 500 m down each side with a 300 m D circle joining the two sides. The well and pump is in the middle of the U so could feed to 4 sections of line. the two straight sides of the U are dear fenced ... the circle is out in the paddock --- grazed by sheep only Any ideas on the best way to do this ?
