Job description

Residential Interior Design
Rangitikei

I’m currently in Switzerland and heading back to our house in Marton in September. We have a nothing in the lounge right now and I’ve been looking at what to put in there, it’s such an awkward shape, with a corner fireplace and I need some help! I’ve ordered a new sofa and armchairs, which arrive late August, and I’d love some help to get it laid out correctly and to accessorize it. How do I make our things fit in the room and what colour to paint the walls, what style/size rug to get, etc. for our 1910 villa. In the pictures, you have the room measurements and 2 photos of what was in there when we bought the place. It’s completely empty now. I have an idea for coffee tables I like, but I’m really not confident in my choices. So I guess I’m asking for help to ensure that what I’m thinking will work - or not! I think I’d love to keep in style with the house and I’m thinking modern farmhouse/French country. I would like to get more of the furniture ordered so we’re not in an empty room when we get back and my goal is to get the living room mostly finished by the end of November. Then I’ll start looking at the other rooms. The bummer is that most of our possessions are being shipped back, so my cushions, throws, etc won’t arrive until February. Photos of the cushions and throws are attached. Please let me know what you think and what your rates would be for this kind of service. Many thanks Dawn
