Job description

Renovations Design
Hutt Valley

We would like the existing fireplace/wood burner area to be removed and turned into a computer work-from-home area, with an inbuilt bookshelf/display shelf running up the left wall (about 1.5 storeys high). We would love to speak to a designer. This involves: Designing and installing a new WFH area with desk(s) and bookshelf. Appropriate electrical supply. Removing the Wood Burner and flue/chimney, patching the ceiling (and the roof if necessary). Willing to discuss whether external chimney should remain or be removed. Removing the surrounding tile flooring and backing, and make the floor level and smooth with the rest of the room (currently raised approx. 150mm). Re-laying floor with vinyl/carpet. Taking away all debris. Area is approx. 2600mm wide x 1280 mm deep. 810mm to bottom of railing (ex raised amount) Note: 1. House is up steep driveway, will not accommodate long vehicles 2. Sloped roofline to left of chimney (see photo) leads to a three-storey drop. Chimney-side is not as high.
