Job description

Colour Consultancy
Auckland

I am replacing my kitchen and want to avoid a bland white kitchen while keeping it light and bright and warm and welcoming. Most of the cabinetry and bench top choices available are neutrals. Looking for some guidance. Has to tie in with sitting room, dining room colours (Pink), laundry colours (blue greens) and cork floors. Photos of existing kitchen are to show windows, which go to bench level. The tall thinnish one is glass bricks. The windows are not shown accurately on the proposed render. There is a narrow pantry added to the wall with the leaf skeletons, though the render doesn't show them separately. The pantry bit will be the laminate and the existing wall painted, (could be an interesting colour???? Though risks being bitsy) They will be slightly offset. The table in the existing kitchen becomes a breakfast bar in the new kitchen. Currently the wooden handles and edging provide contrast and tie everything together but they can't be replaced and I haven't figured out how to provide replacement contrast. Not sure yet how extensive the splash back will be or whether it will be tiles. Thinking of keeping the window architraves, skirting and scotias a similar colour to now but perhaps more green/ blue/ green. Would like to have this underway by next Friday18th if at all possible...

It was great to have Claire's professional expertise applied to both my kitchen colours and design details. She was friendly professional, very helpful, and was clearly committed to providing a great service. In addition her fee was very reasonable.
