I’m looking for a qualified person to install 24m2 of R3.6 ceiling insulation above a newly renovated area (a garage to bedroom/bathroom conversion for a disabled family member). This could either be a supply and install job, or I could supply 3 bags of insulation materials if this makes the job more economical or easier to schedule. This quantity/R-rating has been confirmed by an insulation company staff member, who has also confirmed the roof space and ceiling access (via the adjacent garage) are both good, and that the installation itself would probably take an hour, but perhaps up to 1.5 hours to complete. I’m a Community Services Card holder but I've already claimed a Warmer Kiwi Homes grant for insulating this property, so I don't qualify for additional assistance. I'm therefore hoping to find someone who can do this small job privately at a reasonable cost, perhaps by combining it with other work in the area to minimise the travel charges.
