Ceiling insulation and noise reduction

We are looking to install sound proofing via a second ceiling in my daughters' bedroom - approx. 5x6 m, reasonably low ceiling (2.3m). The kitchen and lounge are right above it and the noise in her room is a problem. Happy to look at options an get advice, noise absorbent insulation seems the best option, as far as I can see, but option for suggestions. The ceiling has 4 down lights as well, hoping to replace them with smart lights.
