Underfloor insulation small house

I have a semi detached house which is only 50sq metres, I'm thinking about removing carpets in two rooms and putting down insulation under the house. Access is quite crapmed, just looking for a couple of quotes at this stage to make a decision on carpet or polished floors. Cheers, Kate
