Job description

Residential Insulation
Wellington

We have bought a new home and all/the majority of the windows in the home are original and warped out of shape (do not close) - we need someone to come in and sort them out for us. Odd jobs could include a wee bit of regibbing, helping to prepare bathroom for redecoration, installing insulation and other jobs as necessary. We will also be painting the whole house so need plasterers in after we have stripped back all the wall paper. The house is 90sqm in total. We will be painting all bar the kitchen. (Approximately 15sqm) All of these jobs will need to be started on (or close to) the 2nd of July and must be completed by the 15th of July.

I would not recommended using Diamond Maintenance Services. We will be seeing them at the disputes tribunal in the new year. The quality of their work was/is extremely poor as was their professionalism. We are extremely disappointed in the services provided. We are also very disappointed that Shaun lead us to believe that he is a qualified builder when in fact he has not done an apprenticeship at all. Had we have known what we know now about both Gordon and Shaun we would never have hired them for the job. We strongly recommended you do not use their services.

"It has taken me 24 hours to believe this review, there are three sides to any story/happening your side/my side/and the truth. This contract started with restoring windows that had been nailed and screwed closed for many years we removed every opening window in the house restored them and reinstalled them when we were painting, wall paper was being removed with a steamer and the more we pleaded the more we were ignored paint and water do not go together. We all make mistakes from time to time however this was a big one we engaged this contract and from day one we could see this lady was doing something she had never done before run a construction site with a hole lot of tradesman falling over each other. A prime example was they had the wooden floors sanded, sealed and polished prior to us skim plastering the walls a no no. The wall paper was removed by Kim and she did a bad job we were expected to plaster the walls under those circumstances the only thing we did wrong, we stuck to our guns to finish the work and were suckers to proceed, we should have walked away it would have been the right thing to do for us. In any case they still owe us a substantial amount of money on this contract. In my life you will get one of these every 2 to 3 years but it is so hard to predict them. All of you out there if you look at our Pro Webb page you will see some windows before and after they were done at Kim's place. It seems strange to us that 95% of our clients have no issues with what we do for them. We will go the extra mile for our clients and we did the same on this project and we were shafted. There are things you say under your breath but for this lady to attack my Sons credentials is the lowest of lows as he is extremely good at what he does our Pro Webb page shows you the quality of our workmanship."
