Ground Moisture Barrier / Underfloor insulation
Job description
Looking to see if it's possible to install moisture/vapour barrier sheeting in our sub-floor space, and perhaps insulation, to limit the damp rising into the house. Original house from the 50s with timber floor on piles. There is an access point to the sub-floor space - house seems fairly low to the ground however. Looking for quotes for either just the moisture barrier, or insulation as well if this looks like it will be effective.

Sean was very easy to communicate with, was prompt, and shared a generous amount of knowledge about our subfloor space and our insulation options. Despite the site posing some challenging obstacles to the original plan for the vapour barrier installation, Sean was completely transparent about this, and he and his worker went to great effort to make the best of a difficult job. The original quote was also adjusted fairly in response to the limitations. Would highly recommend Maxwells Insulation.
