Job description

Underfloor Insulation Installation
Waitakere

The house is on an inclined section. Floor area (including the garage) is 180 m2. The garage flooring is a concrete base, (6.0 m x 5.57 m) while the rest of the house flooring is elevated on stilts. Therein, the under-floor area to be covered with a ground water barrier, would be approximately 146 m2. Photos of the house and under-floor space are attached. Access to the under-floor space is through a door (approx 1500 mm height x 500 mm width from under the deck area (as can be seen in the photo no.4). The underside of the house has been used to store junk over the years, and this will be cleared out. There is also rubble as can be seen in the photos, and this will have to be removed before the moisture barrier is installed, so as to prevent the plastic from tearing if somebody walks over it or stuff is stored on top. The moisture barrier is to be laid under any piping which is running along the ground, so that access to these is not restricted and should there be a leak, it would be possible to identify and address this without having to remove the plastic. We would like the job to be done after the 22nd October, Please indicate cost for removal and disposal of the rubble, preparation of the area as required, and installation of a ground moisture barrier to comply with current healthy homes standards. Cheers
