Hi, My house was built in 2007 and has 3.6 insulation in the roof I want to add to it by putting R6 to R7 on top of this. You will have to put 3.6 around the edge so as to avoid touching the roof. The garage is a 3-car garage and I want to put 3.6 in there, there is at present no insulation in the roof of the garage. Overall the size is 48 sq meters The whole house is 265sq meters The roof is a standard construction with access via a manhole in the garage, an access is OK around all of the roof space. There are 2 box ceilings in the property
