Under floor insulation

We have quite an old house sitting on piles. There's some insulation under the house but we're not sure of its condition, we'd like to know about getting this redone. House has timber floors, some of which have small gaps that light can be seen through, it would be ideal if the insulation could 'seal' these off by providing a barrier between the inside and outside. House is ~ 100m2
