Job description

Residential Insulation
Naenae, Hutt Valley

We have a small building (approx 15m x 6m, a rectangle) that is lined underfloor with polystyrene insulation. This insulation material is exposed to the void below the building. It needs to be contained by someone lining the underfloor timber frame. We don't know whether you would do this with plywood, or just black plastic sheet or builder's paper - but we know that we want the polystyrene contained. One panel recently fell out and got pecked and scratched apart by our hen and cats (see last photo), creating an environmental hazard of blow-away polystyrene balls. This cannot happen again! We expect to pay well as this is a claustrophobic job, a muddy and mucky job (including old duck manure as our late duck used to hang out under there), and you will need a dust mask and mucky clothes. The best applicant will understand that runaway polystyrene is an eco-hazard, and will want to do a good job of containing it. I have already been under there and vacuumed up all the polystyrene balls with a wet vac, which is how come I know this is mucky work. Now I am tired and want to pay someone else to line the timber frame. Thanks

Everything went smooth as silk with D-Fluff, anyone would think they've done this kinda work before. (Hint: they have done this kinda work before! And I'd recommend them for anything to do with insulation because they really know what they're doing with it.) No further problems with polystyrene panels thanks to D-Fluff. Thanks!
