We require underfloor insulation instalment to meet the healthy homes certification. We are in the process of setting our home up ( we purchased just under a year ago) ready for renting out as my partner is moving to Palmerston North in January to start a new job. I plan to move down there by April. We would like this to be completed sooner rather then later. We currently have a non-reflective liner under the floor and understand this is not compliant for health homes. We believe we will not be allegeable for any government subsidy as the previous owner had a heat pump and ceiling insulation installed. My partner has recently installed black polythene on the ground to help prevent further moisture build up under the floor.
