The insulation in our ceiling is a bit of a mess - there's a mix of very old insulation that needs removing, and some newer pink batts that may be still suitable but has been moved around and needs installing correctly. We also have a loft room that is complete uninsulated so it gets very hot in summer and cold in winter. I want to replace and/or re-install the ceiling insulation, and fully insulate the loft room. If you have building experience and could give an opinion about whether the loft could be expanded as well that would be great. I'm happy to do some of the work myself like removing the old insulation etc but need guidance on what (if any) is still usable.
