We need the following done: 1. Removal of 125 sq meters of existing polystyrene under floor insulation to allow timber to be treated for borer (I will organise the treatment myself) 2. Source and install 125 sq meters of 250 micron (or thicker) polythene moisture barrier on the ground under the house. This will also require preparing of the ground by raking out debris to ensure it does not damage polythene when installed. The installation should be to New Zealand Standard NZS --- This can be found at --- ) 3. Source and install 125 sq meters of new under floor insulation. (Or reuse the insulation removed as part of job 1 if possible?) Access under the house is via a small hatch and height is approx 65cm under whole area. Care to be taken not to damage existing pipes or cabling under house. Contractor MUST have experience of installing polythene moisture barriers.
