Insulate and line garage ceiling

We have an Ideal garage/workshop and would like to line it out. It is 6m x 7.2m. We'd like the ceiling lined up on an angle leaving the beams exposed. There is building paper under the ceiling, and we thought perhaps a layer of expol could be wedged up there before the gib. Would like the gib to be gibstopped to and we can paint it. We plan on lining the walls ourselves but think the ceiling will be too difficult for us without the ladders required.
