Garage --> Study

Job description

Residential Insulation
Auckland

Published on 8 October 2012

We have a single garage that's currently used for miscellaneous storage. Approximately 6m x 3m. Corrugated roof, concrete floor and one concrete wall. There's a roller door at one end (suprising I know) there's also a single door at the end of the long side (away froom the roller door)which opens onto our yard. There is a window between the door and the back wall on the long end. We'd like to create a partition approximately 1.5 m in from the roller door to use as storage. We'd like to have the remaining space insulated (Woodwork and spaces are exposed) and gibbed to be used as a study. If possible it would be good to have the door re-done, perhaps to make it a double door leading out onto the yard. There is electricity supplied to the garage with one light fitting and a power point, would be ideal to add in another power point and light fitting. The short end opposite the roller door has wooden cabinets installed which we'd be happy to have removed. I don't expect this will be a big job as we just want something tidy not fancy. Have a child on the way mid-November so if this could be done before that would be ideal.

David was prompt with communications and did the work as promised. He made it clear as to what needed to be done in order to guarantee safety and a certificate of compliance which made it easy for us to assess and budget for. Would happily work with David again.
