Water leak inspection

A leak occurred after the earthquake a few weeks ago. It soaked the floor on the second level and travelled through the wall downstairs where it shorted a wall plug. Need to decipher where leak is coming from externally on a two storey house. Not coming from roof, may be a cladding issue. Although the work may need scaffolding, the initial inspection should be able to be done internally. Within the next week if possible
