Hi there, We need someone to have a look at our flue. It's a gas fireplace with a Metal flu that isn't in use anymore but there seems to be water running down the side of it when it rains alot. I crawled up into the roof and it looks like there is a gap in a join that the water is getting from the inside to the outside of the flue. Photo below where you can see the water marks below the join in the flue. Not sure how this is repaired? Or how to repair it so it's heat resistant if this goes into use again in the future. Or if it's comming in from the flashing around The chimney in the roof.
