Heatpump closing arm repair

The arm on our Goldair heatpump is broken and needs fixing/replacing! When we turn the heat pump off it doesnt close/only closes a little and we cant change the air direction. First photo is of the part that is broken and second is the heatpump turned off. My husband did his best to try and fix it but is only a temp fix. Just wanting to get a quote first.
