Fireplace repair

Moved into a home nearly a year ago and we have recently found a leak in our water cylinder and had to remove the wetback to our fireplace, we now have 2 holes in the back of the box that we need 'plugged'. We also have a leak coming down the flue somewhere?! We are due for a 'health check' before kicking off for winter, so an all in one service is preferential. The fireplace is a woodburner - Kent Eurofire and is approx 13 years old.
