Supply and install heat pump
Job description
The extension on our house doesn't get much heat into it due to the narrow passageway which connects it to the rest of the house. I'd like a heat pump supplied and installed into that room. The room dimensions are approximately 6m x 4.3m (25m2). There's already a heat pump in the general area which supplies heat to the main part of the house. It might be convenient to connect the new unit to the same isolator, or place a new isolator in the same area and use the existing power feed from the switchboard. I'm not an electrician, so you'll need to make your own suitability assessment there. If you need to run a new wire back to the switchboard instead there's access under the house for this also. The existing unit is a MSZ-GE60VA, to give you an idea of the current draw on the existing circuit. I don't have a particular affinity toward any manufacturer, though I'd definitely prefer a Japanese unit (not interested in Chinese models). I don't mind paying a bit more for a better model. Please let me know which model options you have available to suit this room install when you contact and an indicative price for each.

Sanjeev arrived on time and did a good install overall. Communication was OK, though a few very early morning phone calls could have been better considered. Also there was a few discarded screws, plastics, pipe insulation and wire straps left blowing around the site in the wind that I quickly had to collect when he left.
