Aircon cold setting not working

Not blowing cold air - trying turning it all off and starting, does blow cold for a little bit but not long. Possibly needs a re-gas. It’s a Mitsubishi floor unit. Approx 7 years old, I’ve rung one company and obviously this close to Christmas - the first available date is 10th jan. Trying in case there are any of the repair legends available before Xmas or at least in the middle weeks. Consult price then discuss price to fix/lee-gas
