Service of pellet fire

Hi there ... I have a pellet fire which isn't firing up at the moment. I have given it a good clean but it still doesn't work. The fire will light initially, but then go out ... lots of smoke. And a bit of smoke appears to be leaking through one of the seals. Any help would be most appreciated. :)
