we have an existing woodsman fire. Its out dated so we want to buy a new fire and install it in the original fire place. The chimney fell in the earthquake and EQC have taken it down to the ceiling. We have been told we may need to extend our hearth by 100 mms, and may need to replace the surrounding background with fire resistant material. Alternatively we would like to see how much it would be for a free standing fire if we remove the existing fireplace and surrounding bricks etc. Thanks Mitchell
