I have an existing heat pump that has been removed, professionally and the pipes capped. I now have a new heat pump that I want installed on the existing pipes. The existing liquid pipe is the correct size however the gas pipe size is 12.7 mm whereas the new heat pump uses a 9.52 mm gas pipe. The pipes cannot be changed as they are permanently installed so I need sections of 9.52 mm pipe brazed onto each end of the existing 12.7 mm pipe before hooking up the indoor and outdoor units.
