Wood burner repair - Fan suddenly noisy!

Log burner fan has become noisy! It’s an insert type Masport. Possibly LE4000. The type where the ash tray needs to be removed to get to the fan. FAN MAINTENANCE Only the manufacturer, its service agent or a similarly qualified person should remove the ash shelf of the LE4000 Provincial, LE5000 Provincial, LE7000 Provincial, or bottom fascia panel of the --- and I2000 to carry out fan installation, servicing and maintenance. The fan should need little attention other than occasionally (perhaps once a year) removing it to clean dust and lint from the impeller. First isolate the fan from the power supply. Fans on in-built fires can be accessed by lifting off the ash shelf.
