This jobs a little different the flue needs to find its way off the top of the fire box --- go through the false tiled backing as fire surround tile will need to be removed 165mill hole drilled an albow will need to be made up as to suit the bend then its straight up the wall.as the fire box sits straight in line with the roof pitch if we had taken flue up inside we would have to do something odd and as a demo contractor I've seen some pretty out of it ways things like this have been done,because its going up the exterior wall this problem shouldn't be a problem.?when the jobs complete the flue will have cut stone as in a false chimney between the wall lineing exterior bevel back ceader weatherboard going 4.500meters up to the roof pitch this will need a fire proof lineng between flue and the weatherboard to be fireproof I would use a 15to18 mill cement fibre board similar to pole lite but I've seen the right. Product a experienced contractor will know what it is as we get wind+pretty strong at times we will require chimney top to turn to suit draft in the other home next door the smoke comes down the chimney when the winds gusty 40knots at times but hey guess who put it in don't be nosey,this is why I'm looking for a professional the other will need to be addressed as well but I think I have a secondhand top that may solve the probb this job will cover 6 homes in tottal over the next 6months two are availible to do right now it's getting bloody cold
