Job description

House Repair & Maintenance
Wellington

Our building has a few small spots of rot on the exterior cladding which needs to be repaired, before the cracks in the cladding are repaired, as they will reapply the paint and any stucco effect required. One is a "ledge" between a bottom cladding sheet and the concrete wall (about 45 x 20mm thick), and the other is a rotten spacer for an extractor fan outlet (which should have been ply) as they cut the hole too large. They're both small jobs, and 1 builder suggested using bog for the ledge fix, but I'm not sure if that's a good idea. The strip looks like it has been attached using coach screws, so a new piece would have to be fitted and a drip groove routed into it? Our usual builder is unavailable as he's had surgery and is recovering

Was glad Tyrone could fit us in before Xmas, but obviously juggling jobs and the weather took a bit longer to come than he thought. Also got his advice on a few other things, so will reuse when ready
