Looking for fix a hole in the wall

Palm sized hole/break in the wall - someone had leaned into the wall causing the breakso its not fully hole-y, if that makes sense. I am unable to upload pics until later. However, it is wallpapered - landlord would like the hole to be fixed and wallpapered to something close to the existing wallpaper, which I will go and look for this week. Property management has agreed to cover the cost of repairs for the successful handyman so will need to liaise with them as well :)
