We have a dryer which needs to be vented outside. It does not sit against an exterior wall, so will need to be run into the ceiling cavity first and then to the outside. The dryer itself is a Kelvinator ED55 and is mounted on an interior wall above the washing machine. The dryer exhaust is approximately 400mm from the ceiling and I estimate it's about 200-240mm from where the dryer is to where the vent will need to be installed - through the soffit. It is for a single-story house.
