Frameless Shower Glass installation

Looking for someone to install a glass shower in my bathroom. The base and tiles have already been installed but there is a slight problem with the wall which makes the installation slightly more complicated. As you can see from the picture the base doesn't sit flush with the wall, so I need some sort of make shift spacer to run level against the tiles which can then be used to attach the glass to. Possibly a piece of stainless steel or waterproofed wood which could be used to fill the gap, once this is in place the installation will be straight forward.
