Reset gates

We have two sets of gates, one over the front foot path and the other over our drive way and both scrape along the ground and don't latch easily. The fence and gates are wooden picket fence approximately 1.5 meters tall. The drive way gate is a double gate, both sides swinging to meet in the middle with a latch that puts them together and bolts that drop into holes in the ground. We would appreciate a relatively speedy fix. We are applying to adopt a dog and would need the gates fixed to complete the adoption.
