At this stage im after ideas of what to do, best materials for the space, and planting options/ideas. This is a new property and im in the process of getting a trellis fence finished that surrounds the garden area (see pic). Its a fairly small area so need to maximise the space as much as possible and keep it easy to maintain. Things that I know I want are a paved area to place the outdoor furniture and BBQ. Plants that add to the screening in front of the trellis - the photo shows the existing plants that were already here before I brought the property - not sure what type they are and not fussed about keeping them as some have been damaged by the builders etc. Other than the above im open to ideas. Budget is small so cant be anything too fancy! The space of the garden is approx 16sqm in total. There is a small slope at the back of the garden that is fine to remain so would consider planting this out. The remaining part of the garden would need to be leveled off for the paving as it slopes slightly downwards.
