Active job

MAINLY ELECTRICAL WORK, BUT ALSO GENERAL HANDYMAN NEEDED

MULTIPLE ISSUES: (mainly electrical, but if a jack-of-all trades is available, we want you!) 1)This morning we heard a pop and all the ceiling lights in the bedrooms went out (the lights on the other side of the house were unaffected). The bedrooms with no lights still have power (eg, clock radio still works). 2) We have a gas hob (connected to a bottle which we change when needed) but I believe the oven is electric. A few weeks ago we were using the oven and it filled the entire house with an awful burnt plastic smell, which is still lingering. No idea what the cause of this is. We also have a few miscellaneous jobs which would be great if we could get done at the same time: -Our washing machine is not filling, we have to manually fill it with water - need this issue diagnosed & repaired -One of our toilets is blocked. Would appreciate if someone is able to come and have a look, and provide us with a quote, we would like to get things moving ASAP.
