Kitchen cabinet adjustment for fridge

Our fridge is about 5cm too high for our fridge gap in the kitchen cabinets. We want to raise the bottom of the cabinet above the fridge space in the most visually appealing way, most likely taking off the cupboard door, raising the bottom shelf and either leaving it as an exposed shelf or trimming the door so that it fits a new cabinet that is around 5cm shorter. Note the fridge in the photos fits the space, this fridge is not functioning. A different, slightly taller fridge is what we need to fit in. Looking for a quick and cost effective job, otherwise we may as well repair the current fridge or buy a new one that fits.
