2 Small Jobs + Advice

I have two guitar wall-brackets that need putting up, and I'm not willing to make 20 holes in the wall before I find the right spots. I also have a wooden stool that is coming apart, and I'd like it to be useful again. I would like advice or suggestions on how to attach some fly-screens to my windows - the curtain-rails are in the way, and I'm out of ideas.
