Weathertightness issues

I have a studio (with bathroom) that was put up in the 80s. A building inspection initially detected moisture behind the shower. I need this looked at as a condition of my insurance. Since moving in we have noticed additional weather tightness issues with the studio that weren't picked up in the inspection, including a leaking roof, and moisture in a different wall. One of the piles has noticeably settled putting the whole room out of level. I know that it needs a new roof, but I need to know what else it may need, e.g. re-piling or re-cladding, and repairing any damage that has already occurred. The bare minimum is to investigate and remedy any possible structural damage to the satifaction of my insurer.
