River Retaining Wall

PART1. I need to build a retaining wall along the bank of a small stream. The retaining wall is to be approx 1m - 1.5m out of the ground - depending on the lay of the land we could end up with a lower height due to resource consent delays. We have an initial length of 15 to cover, but that will need to be extended by another 10m's when the back fill is completed. As the river floods to the proposed height of the wall, we will need marine grade materials to ensure that it will not simply rot away, although we are open to non wood materials if they prove to be better suited to the lay of the land and the water issues. Once this is done, we'll need to create another couple of retaining walls further up the bank, but that is a later project. PART2, build a railing on the top of the newly created platform. Once we get a quote, we'll be in a position to accept and authorise work to begin, if agreeable, on the spot. Thanks,
